The Four 4's

Our nation is on the brink of destruction. We hear that in many ways all the time. It is impossible to ignore the naysayers. Nor is it something we should be ignoring, hoping it will go away without our help. Our country is really in danger of losing it's freedoms. This will come when the last threads of freedom, the threads that hold up our Constitution, are cut. If we let that happen, we will have to face our posterity, and tell them why we let their freedoms fail.

This is why we are the Youth 4 the Constitution. We need to be ready to save this country when it falls into our hands. we have four sets of four things that, when understood, will bring our nation back from the brink of collapse.

1. The youth here have four ways that you can protect the Constitution.
  1. We need to catch the vision of freedom!
  2. We need to get involved in our freedom!
  3. We need to repair the damaged threads of our freedom!
  4. We need to promote freedom!
2. Also, we must remember and promote the four archetypes of freedom:
  1. Physical/Political Freedom (Life, Liberty, Property)
  2. Spiritual Freedom (Conscience, Religion)
  3. Mental/Emotional Freedom (Idea, Thought)
  4. Social/Verbal Freedom (Speech, Press, Assembly)
3. And we need to focus on and use the four turnings in history to see what we need to do in the future:
  1. Founding (i.e. American Founding, Post-Civil war, 50's and 60's)
  2. Awakening (i.e. Pietist Awakening, Evangelical-Utopian Awakening, New Age Awakening)
  3. Unraveling (i.e. French and Indian Wars, Mexican War, WWI, Desert Storm)
  4. Crisis (American Revolution, Civil War, WWII, Now-near future)
4. And the fourth set of fours is the four types of people in a classical Crisis/Founding era. This is who we need for America:
  1. The complacent masses (these are the ones that we need to work on. Turn them into 2's-4's)
  2. The Producer-Citizen (those who help strengthen American ideals in the home and small businesses)
  3. The Social Leader (those who promote freedom to the masses, making Producer-Citizens)
  4. Statesmen (those with the resources and motive for real change. They are the ones that lead the change)
